*What are "ROSE ROCKS"?

Barite rosettes (aka Rose Rocks) are unique geological formations that are found in certain areas of central Oklahoma. They are made up of barite crystals that have formed into a rosette shape, creating a distinct and beautiful appearance. The process of formation of these rocks is quite rare and involves the right combination of weathering, groundwater, and minerals. The sandy soil in the region is thought to provide the perfect conditions for the growth of these crystals.
