This 2.5" glass ornament captures the beauty of Oklahoma in a miniature diorama. Lovingly made with Oklahoma's iconic red sand, wild harvested prairie grass, and a gorgeous Barite Rose - the official state rock of Oklahoma.
Similar to my "Oklahoma in a Bottle", the scene is secured in place and will look beautiful even after shipping. No two are exactly the same, but you will receive a beautifully unique ornament similar to those pictured.
No matter where you are, if you call Oklahoma 'home' then this little piece of the Sooner state can remind you of Oklahoma's unique charm and beauty. These make a wonderful gift for homesick friends or family, and can be displayed and enjoyed for the holidays, or year-round.
Your ornament is beautifully wrapped before shipping, and includes a small info card about the Barite Rose. Items ship the same or next day and arrive quickly.
Red Dirt Roses is a sole proprietorship created and owned by Amber Lacy in Norman, Oklahoma. All items are handmade, and all the Rose Rocks are hand-collected. Your purchase helps Red Dirt Roses advocate for the recognition and preservation of Oklahoma's amazing barite roses and the beautiful rural areas where they're found.

Barite Rose Rocks are moderately low on the Mohs scale (hardness level), and can be easily damaged if stored with other rocks (including other Rose Rocks). Store your roses individually with padding or bubble wrap to keep them safe.
And, to avoid fading, display them out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
My Native American husband's family owns land in Oklahoma county, and the Garber Sandstone Formation (where rose rocks are formed) runs right through the area. Given full permission (and extremely thankful), I collect the roses from their land!
